Care and Maintenance

WFA prides itself on offering a wide range of products and excellent customer service. Our team have considerable experience across all aspects of wood flooring including the many ways in which wood flooring can, and often should, be treated, either to achieve a particular look or for the after care and maintenance of the floor.

Our high quality floors will, if cared for properly have a long life in any home or commercial setting. Rest assured that wood flooring can be easily maintained over a long period of time if the correct products are applied. Using the wrong product can leave a wood floor damaged by residue – if in doubt contact a friendly member of the WFA team to help and guide you to which product is best for the care of the wood floor.

The right care and maintenance is essential to keep all floors looking beautiful, promote the long term sustainability of the raw material and in the long term enhance the floor’s performance – in turn protecting the investment - order these products and leave them with your customer on completion of installation.

Junckers

Floor Cleaner (previously SylvaCleaner) is a universal soap that does not leave a film or residue on the floor. Used for daily or periodic cleaning of lacquered and oiled wooden floors.

Should any residues get left by Junckers Floor Cleaner, Neutralizer (previously SylvaNeutralizer) neutralises the floor before re-sealing with oil or lacquer.

Osmo

As we all know, there are many do’s and don’ts when it comes to the care and maintenance of a wood floor and Osmo have within their range all the products needed for cleaning, refreshing and maintaining them.

With products that have been developed for use ‘only’ on wood, you can be confident in advising your customer that this is the system to apply.
